Smoothies are super easy to make and are a perfect drink to add into your daily routine. However, not all smoothies are created equal. The best smoothies have a perfect blend of sweetness and a little bit zest. We adore this lemon blueberry smoothie because it has all the flavors we love in a smoothie. It is very fruity, very refreshing and has a nice bright taste thanks to the lemon juice and lemon zest. It is not overly sweet which makes is something we can enjoy in the morning, afternoon and even as a dessert at night.

Our lemon blueberry smoothie is also quite healthy. Bananas and blueberries are both full of vitamins and minerals like fiber, magnesium and vitamin C. Lemon juice is also loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants. We add oats into our smoothie to give it a little more fiber which helps with your overall gut health and keeps you full longer. Enjoy this smoothie for breakfast and you will be full until lunch!

The texture of our smoothie is also incredible. The frozen fruit makes the smoothie nice and thick while the oats and banana add a creaminess to the amazing drink.

This blueberry lemon smoothie is going to be an easy drink recipe that you can keep on rotation. Stock your freezer with frozen fruit so you can make this tasty smoothie anytime! Enjoy.
