We love classic drinks made with a fresh new twist. This non-alcoholic honeydew margarita mocktail checks all of the boxes.
The fresh melon juice adds a wonderful taste to the margarita that is incomparable. Be sure to use a nice, ripe melon. You can tell when a honeydew is ripe because it will smell sweet even outside of the thick skin.

The fresh lime juice is what makes this drink taste like a real margarita. That tangy lime juice flavor just can’t be beat! Be sure to squeeze your own limes for optimal flavor.
Save a few wedges to use as a garnish on your margarita glass. You can also use half lemon juice and half lime juice if you want your margarita to be a little more sour.
The ancho chili powder and salt give the honeydew margarita a real kick. Ancho chilies have a smoky taste that adds a whole new level of flavor to the drink. You can find crushed ancho chili flakes in most grocery store but, if you can’t find them, use regular chili powder flakes in their place.
Use a little less chili if you would like a more subtle spice. Don’t worry though, the melon flavor will shine through even the spiciest rimmed glass!
