Homemade Almond Milk Easy Recipe

If you have had almond milk from the carton before, then you are probably already hooked. But, once you try homemade almonds milk, you will be totally in love with this delicious drink. It isn’t hard to make almond milk at all, you just need to have the right tools. A high speed blender and a nut milk bag are essentials.

All of the ingredients get pureed in the blender until smooth. The mix will be very thick and creamy, not quite the texture of milk that you are looking for. However, once you strain the puree, you will have a beautiful, smooth glass of milk worth swooning over.

Nut milk bags are great for straining the mix as they are made from very fine mesh. You want the liquid to be able to go through the bag but all the thick pulp to stay inside. Cheese cloth or even a very thin dish towel will work too.

If you only have a mesh strainer, this will suffice but some of the nut pulp may get into your almond milk. It will still taste great, it will just be slightly thicker.

Once you have made homemade almond milk once, you will never go back to that store bought stuff. And why would you?! It is easy to make and it tastes so, so much better!
