    Virgin Vegas Bomb Shot Recipe

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

The virgin Vegas bomb is made to be sipped quickly but you may want to slow down and savor the tasty flavors.

    Virgin Vegas Bomb Shot Recipe

The Vegas bomb is a classic party drink. It is often served at bachelor parties, frat parties or any party that needs a little pick me up. There is something about drinking a beverage quickly that always gets people excited.

There aren’t many non-alcoholic “bomb” recipes out there though. That is likely because most non alcoholic drinks are better sipped and enjoyed than chugged. However, it can still be fun to partake in some classic drinking games, even if you are living the dry life. That is why we created a virgin version of the Vegas Bomb. It tastes even better than the original, alcoholic drink and can help add some excitement to your next big party.

    What is a Vegas Bomb?

It is a potent shot of alcohol at it’s core. If you’re wondering what’s in a Vegas bomb, the traditional, alcoholic drink is made with Crown Royal whiskey, peach schnapps and cranberry juice as the shot portion of the drink. This triple liquor blend is known as a “Royal Flush” which may play into the gambling-themed name of the Vegas Bomb.

How to make a Vegas Bomb

Once the shot portion of the drink is mixed, the shot is dropped into a pint glass full of Red Bull. The shot glass and all goes right into the energy drink, blending the two liquids together as the shot glass hits the bottom of the pint glass, like a bomb. The drink is then consumed as quickly as possible. Multiple people often drink Vegas bomb shots at once and compete to see who can drink it all first.

    Are Vegas Bombs Good?

At Mocktail.net, we are all about the sober lifestyle. We know first hand that you do not need alcohol to have a good time. You also don’t need alcohol to make a drink taste good. So, while some people may love the original Vegas bomb, we are not huge fans. Vegas bombs are full of alcohol and not really on our list of things to try.

What Does a Vegas Bomb Taste Like?

While we may not be running to the local pub to drink a alcohol filled Vegas bomb, we are quite interested in the flavors that are in this popular drink. Deciphering what a Vegas bomb tastes like helps us create a non alcoholic version that is even better than the original. More flavor, less alcohol!

Here are the flavors that are present in a classic drink:

    • Vanilla
    • Brown Sugar
    • Peach
    • Cranberry
    • Caramel

The vanilla, caramel, and brown sugar flavors are all found in the Crown Royal whiskey that is usually used to make a Vegas bomb. We skipped the Crown Royal and went right to the real source. Real vanilla extract and real brown sugar give the drink a ton of flavor.

Peach juice or peach puree is used in place of peach schnapps. This also gives a much more natural, potent taste to the drink.

Cranberry juice is always approved in our book and Red Bull is a strong, energy packed drink that is perfectly acceptable for non-alcoholic drinks.

Give our non alcoholic recipe a try and let us know what you think. This blend of fruity, rich and tangy flavors makes the virgin Vegas bomb quite unique. We can say this much- you will either love it or hate it! It is so powerful that there really is no in between. We hope you love it.
