Fresh ingredients are key to making a flavorful, non alcoholic lemonade. You want to be sure to use fresh, ripe pineapple and fresh lemon juice to get the most flavor possible. Powdered lemonade mix just wont do! When you have just one sip of this fresh lemonade, you will be happy you chose high quality ingredients.

Using the best, freshest ingredients is not hard at all. All you need is a blender and a strainer and you will have the ingredients mixed together in no time. Pineapple lemonade is a perfect make-ahead drink as well. It can be your new summer go-to for big parties. Make a big pitcher or fill a punch bowl with pineapple lemonade and everyone will drink it right up! This drink is a true winner.

Ingredients

  • 10 cups chopped ripe pineapple (About 1 medium pineapple)

  • 4 cups water

  • 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • Ice

Directions

  • Add the pineapple, water, lemon juice and brown sugar to a blender and puree until very smooth. You may have to work in batches depending on the size of your blender. If this is the case, blend half the pineapple mix, pour it into a bowl and set aside while you blend the second half. Mix the two parts together in a bowl to ensure they are evenly blended.
  • Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve and discard the pineapple pulp.
  • Serve the lemonade over ice.

Tips and Tricks

  • • Skip the brown sugar if the pineapple is super ripe. Ripe pineapples are sweet enough without added sugar.
