This is one non-alcoholic drink that you are going to obsess over.
“fresh juice made from fruit”
You can find all different kinds of agua fresca across Latin America. It is very often made using watermelon, cantelope or any other very juicy fruit. Many times, agua fresca is just one ingredient- fruit juice! However, we like to switch it up a little and make an agua fresca that is even more flavorful.
Our recipe for agua fresca is made with fresh peaches and lavender. When peaches are ripe and in season, they are incredibly juicy. Imagine drinking a big glass of that cool, sweet juice- sounds like something out of a dream!
Lavender pairs very well with peaches and gives this agua fresca recipe a whole new depth of flavor. Both fresh and dried lavender will taste great so use whichever you can find. Lavender is also very healthy. It is said to reduce stress, calm anxiety and even relieve pain. Maybe add a little extra lavender if you need some more of its soothing powers…Follow our blog with Bloglovin
