Agua fresca is one of our favorite thinks to sip in the summer. If you have never heard of this delicious drink, it is essentially a fresh juice made from fruit. “Agua” means water in Spanish and “fresca” translates to fresh.
Fresh water sounds pretty refreshing to us! This is one non-alcoholic drink that you are going to obsess over.

You can find all different kinds of agua fresca across Latin America. It is very often made using watermelon, cantelope or any other very juicy fruit. Many times, this refreshing drink is just one ingredient- fruit juice!
However, we like to switch it up a little and make a drink that is even more flavorful.
Our recipe is made with fresh peaches and lavender. When peaches are ripe and in season, they are incredibly juicy. Imagine drinking a big glass of that cool, sweet juice- sounds like something out of a dream!
Lavender pairs very well with peaches and gives this amazing drink recipe a whole new depth of flavor. Both fresh and dried lavender will taste great so use whichever you can find.
