How to Make Lavender Chamomile Tea

Making our lavender and chamomile tea recipe is very simple. Here is what you need to do:

    1. Heat almond milk and add the sweetener and vanilla extract.
    2. Add the chamomile tea bags and lavender flower buds and let them sit in the warm milk for 5 minutes.
    3. Strain the tea and enjoy!

The wonderful taste of lavender and chamomile will be infused into the almond milk. The vanilla extract adds a nice natural sweetness and rich flavor. The maple syrup adds a lovely caramel taste that goes well with the floral tea. It really is fantastic!

Is Chamomile and Lavender Tea Healthy?

Can Chamomile and Lavender Tea Help Me Sleep?

Herbal teas are widely known to help promote sleep. Lavender and chamomile have both been shown to help reduce anxiety and stress which helps your body relax. Less stress will help you sleep better. This specific blend of tea will improve your overall quality of sleep.

Can I Use Water to Make Chamomile Lavender Tea?

You can use water, dairy-free milk or regular whole milk in this recipe. They will all work wonderfully! Using water in place of almond milk will make the drink a little less rich. It won’t have quite the creaminess that we love. It also will take away the nutty flavor of the almond milk. However, water is a suitable substitute for almond milk for our lavender chamomile tea recipe.

Can I Use Honey in Place of Maple Syrup?

You definitely can use honey in place of maple syrup in this tea recipe. You can also use sugar or erythritol (about two teaspoons of either will work!). If you want a lavender chamomile tea that is not sweet, skip the sweetener all together. The vanilla extract actually adds a subtle sweetness to the tea.
