We all know how important it is to eat our veggies but how many of us are really getting all the greens we need? The USDA recommends that you eat at least three cups of veggies per day. They also say that green veggies are the most essential.
The nutrients found in green vegetables have been shown to help support brain heath, boost heart health, reduce the risk of certain cancers and even build strong bones.
It’s incredible how much a few green leaves can do!

We wanted to harness the power of green by creating an amazing, 100% healthy, super delicious juice. A juice that had no artificial flavors and no crazy amount of carbs, fats or sugars.
Something we could mix, drink and feel good about every single sip. That is how we came up with the blend for our green power detox juice.
So what miracle ingredients did we put into our detox juice? Here is what power packed ingredients we picked:

Seven of the most powerful, green ingredients out there! Let us tell you a little bit about what each amazing, tasty ingredient does for your health and how it helps to detox your body.

Spinach- Spinach is full of magnesium which supports healthy bones. Spinach also helps prevent cancer, reduces blood pressure and can reduce oxidative stress. Spinach helps detoxify the body of heavy metals by stimulating the production of liver and digestive enzymes.
Parsley- Parsley is full of chlorophyll which improves detoxification. The enzymes in parsley break down food and improves digestion.
Apples- Apples are full of fiber which can help detox your liver and also improve your gut health.
Cucumber- Cucumber flushes out the toxins in your gut. The digestive enzymes in cucumber also help reduce inflammation.
Celery- Celery is packed with vitamins A, C and K. Drinking celery juice can reduce inflammation, boost hydration and can sooth an upset stomach.
Lemon- Lemon is loaded with vitamin C which has immune boosting powers.
Honey- Honey is an antimicrobial. It will help cleanse your colon and flush out undigested foods. Honey can also help remove other toxins rom your body while also boosting your immune response.

To make our homemade detox drink, we simply put everything through a juicer to press out a beautiful green drink. If you do not have a juicer, I strongly recommend getting one, especially if you are committed to drinking clean, healthy juices to detox your body.
Juicers are able to really squeeze all of the best nutrients out of a veggie or fruit, giving you a glass of concentrated goodness.

If you do not have a juicer, place everything on our list into a blender and puree until smooth. This will give you a juice with a little bit of texture. If you want to remove the pulp, pass the juice through a fine strainer for a clearer drink.
Try starting your day with a big glass of our green power detox juice. After just a few days, you will likely feel the effects of this cleansing drink.
