Make this sangria in advance, getting it ready for your party so you can sit back and relax later on. Mixing the fruits and juices ahead of time actually helps the flavors develop more! Just add the seltzer and ice right before you are ready to serve the sangria so that the bubbles in the seltzer don’t fall flat. While we love this recipe exactly as it is written, feel free to add a few of your own twists to the mix. Toss in a handful of blueberries or blackberries to add a deep, vibrant color. Some fresh raspberries are also a fantastic addition. Try a few lime slices to brighten up the taste and bring the sangria to a whole new level. Get creative! You’d be surprised how amazing the herby taste of basil goes so well with fruit. This will be your go-to summer drink for sure.
